Can't add shortcut to license server in MFASC

I ran into a peculiar problem when reinstalling a Windows 2003 Std Ed Server with Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server 3.0. I just simply can't add a shortcut to the license server in the MetaFrame Access Suite Console (MFASC). When I specify the server I get the error message:

Incorrect URL
The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad request

This is very annoying since the users can't seem to log on, they get a license problem. It seem that the 10 user license I have is not working correctly, and I'd like to check the license in the MFASC.


Any tips? I'll be happy to give you more data if needed.

I think I know what I would be doing.

Take a copy of your license file. Remove License server and re-install license server.
