I've been working on a project on a grant. I created a Web Front End using IIS v. 4 , reports using Crystal Report Professional version 7 and initially tied it in to MS Access database. Worked great!
Currently, I'm trying to use the same tools this time with SQL 6.5 database. I get a recurring logon screen. The Web server and Crystal piece is on one Windows NT machine, the SQL Server database is on a different Windows NT machine.
My instincts tell me the problem is in the DSN or ODBC but I can't pinpoint it. Can anyone help me.

Hi Swich,
Do you have a utility called ODBCPING on your machine? You can use this tool to see if you can connect from your machine to the SQL Server installation via odbc. If it's not on your machine, copy the file from the machine with SQL Server running on it to your machine. At a command line type odbcping /? to get the options - its very easy to use.
It sounds like an ODBC problem to me. Unfortunatley it is impossible to say WHAT the problem is without actually looking at the ODBC setup, but it definitly sounds like ODBC.
