Can't access floppy, cdrw or disgo (removable disk)

Here's the problem....

If I try to access my cdrw drive, I get E:\ is not accessible. Incorrect function.
Same error trying to access floppy drive or my removable usb disgo. Not sure what caused the problem, but I've had it for a couple of days now. Disgo worked for a short while and then stopped agani, but I don't think there was anything I did in between that should have caused it to work, (or stop again).
I'm running W2K, logged in as administrator. Everything esle seems fine.

Any ideas out there???

How many partitions do you have on your machine ??

Did it work before you installed the Disgo ??

Two logical partitions, and all was fine with the disgo. i think I have a clue as to what the cause might be though. found a problem referring to CA's Inoculate which I installed a week or so back, and a version of drivers for Nero CD burning s/w. Need to go home tonight and check out the version and see if I can download the more recent drivers. Hopefully that will fix it. I'll update the thread with the results, in case anyone is interested. Nero uninstall did the job. Bit of a funny one that...

I run Nero as well. What version did you have problems with and I'll be sure to bypass it !!
