Can'r get my 7960 to register with the CCM

Hello, I am very much a novice on the CCM. I have been given one to "learn" and have it setup in my lab.

The phone gets to the "Opening 192.168.1.150" step. This IP is the IP of my CCM. It gets stuck at the before mentioned opening step and then resets and starts again. It will do this endlessly.

The phone and CCM are connected to a network switch with no special settings, everything is in VLAN 1. I hardcoded the phone's IP to 192.168.1.151. CCM is 4.1.3

When I power up the phone it goes through the steps and it actually downloaded a new software load from the TFTP on the CCM and I checked the network settings on the phone and it changed everything to show the current CCM information. I have added the phone under the device menu. I double checked my MAC and it's right. When I pull up the device list, it's listed there but says not found. Any ideas?

Figured it out. I read that sometimes when a phone comes from a system that is on a previous version you have to erase the config on it and then let it connect. I did this and it worked. Not sure how this would fit in with DHCP, you might have to manually add it and after it works set the DHCP to yes.
