We have 4 LPTs in a machine ( LPT1: to LPT4: ). And we have 4 Printers, each one connected to a local LPT. LPT1 to LPT3 and their respective printer is printing normally. But when we try to print in our printer connected to LPT4 we got an error (no codes or explication about the error). I have read a lot of stuff in this forum. We made changes via RegEdit and added LPT4 on LocalMachine......
We noticed some strange in Device Manager. In Ports (COM& LPT), we have LPT1, 2, 3 and 4. In LPT4 Properties, we have
"Port Settings". In fields "LPT Number" ( i don´t know if this is the exact name in english - i´m translating ) we see LPT1 (in use), LPT2 (in use) and LPT3 (in use). We don´t see the LPT4 itself. What is missing that LPT4 is not in the list ?
What can we do about ?
Tks in advance !

The first half yes.
The second half, (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current
Version\Print\Printers\<Printername>\) no.
We will try to do this today.
Tks !
