Cannot uninstall

Dear all,

While installing Desktop version of SQL Server 7, there was power outage at the point where it says "Connecting to server..."

When I later tried uninstalling it, I got the error message:

The log file 'C:\MSSQL7\uninst.isu' is not valid or the data has been corrupted.Uninstall will not continue.

How do I uninstall the software?

Then you should uninstall manually.

Stop all the SQL services,delete all the files on MSSQL7,remove all the entries of MS SQL 7 from registry

Thanks ClaireHsu for your instant reply. However, although I've taken a backup of the registry, I'm still apprehensive. Besides, I do not know what entries relate to SQL Server. Would doing a Find for the word SQL and deleting all those entries with "SQL" do? Please elaborate.
