Cannot uninstall service properly 1

Hello,

whenever I use the /uninstall option on any service I write, the service will not uninstall proerly - it goes to DISABLED in the service list, but never disappears from it. If I try to install he service again, I get the error "1072: Service is marked for deletion"

The only way around this, it seems, is to restart the machine.

Has anybody got any idea why this is, what I'm doing wrong or a way around this, please?

this is normal when you have the mmc services console open. just close it and reopen it, your service will be gone...

Whosrdaddy is right. It really works. I had the same problem last week.
