cannot start Oracle service

Hi there,
Recently Oracle 8 was installed on a pc and the problem is with Administrator login the program works, but other user logins it displays this error message, "cannot start Oracle service"
Please need help on this issue.

What OS on the PC?

Full Install with database creation?

What account is the Oracle service running under?

Thank for that mate, I am using Oracle 8 Personl Edition runing on XP media edition.
I did a custom installation selecting 8 components:

1) Assistant common files 1.0.1.0.0
2) Java Runtime Environment 1.1.1.0.0
3) Oracle net 8 Products 8.0.4.02c
4) Oracle ODBC Driver 8.0.4.0.0
5) Oracle 8 personal edition 8.0.4.0.0
6) Required support files 8.0.4.0.4
7) Required support 7.3.4.1.1
8) SQL Plus 8.0.4.0.0.

This was installed using Administrator's Account, other users cannot start Oracle service apart from the Administrator's account.

Depressingly awaiting a responds.
