IIS Ver: 5.0

I cannot start any of the Internet Information Services (Default Web Site, Default FTP Site, Default SMTP Virtual Server) on my system.

When I try to manually start "Default Web Site", the service times-out and the following message is generated:

Internet Services Manager - "The Service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion"

The Services were working at one time, but for some reason they have stopped. I even went to great lengths as to reinstall the OS and start fresh. That effort was fruitless, as I still get the same error messages. I did not make any changes to the system to trigger such a problem. I captured the event logs on my system, and to no surprise there were some errors that are relevant to the symptomatic components. To help debug the issue, I have included the system events bellow. Hopefully the information can help pinpoint the problem, and I can simply make a prescribed adjustment. I do appreciate your help. Thanks in Advance!!!
