Cannot Shutdown 2

Hello there, I have been unable to shutdown my computer recently either through pressing the power button or the taskbar which normally works.

I tried terminating many processes through taskmgr which allowed me to log off the user and shutdown the computer on the main screen.

Could anyone offer a solution to why this is ocurring?
