Cannot Share Folders…No Server service??

When I attempt to share “Shared Documents” via
Properties->Sharing, I get the following message:
“An error occurred while trying to share Documents. The Server service is not started.

So, I go in to services, and start the server service. (This is supposed to be automatic… I think)

I still get the same message about the server service. This is just two computers on the same 192.168.x.x network.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Have you checked whether there is a problem with any of the Dependencies that the Server Service relies on?

Make sure that 'client for Microsoft networks', 'file and printer sharing', and 'TCP/IP' are all enabled in the properties of your network connection.
