Hi,
I had almost completed a 5.5 to 2003 migration when my 5.5 server decided to die.
All I had left to do was move over the Mail connector. I have setup the SMTP connector on my 2003 server but there are now just loads of messages stuck in the queue. I guess that it is still looking for the original 5.5 server to send.

Is there any way that I can force the mail to go from the Exchange 2003 server ?

Thanks

If you have all your mailboxes on the new 2k3 server, your internal mail should work fine.

In my migration that I did a month ago, I didn't need to migrate a mail connector; I just needed to setup a SMTP connector and configured it. Then, I just pointed my Checkpoint firewall inbound mail to that new 2k3 server IP address and it worked.

What I think is happening is that 'something' on your network (Ie firewall) is not letting outbound mail.

Sorry that I couldn't be of more help.

Danny
