Hi

I am working on an Excel workbook, and cannot delete two buttons that appear on the spreadsheet.

I can add a button and assign a macro to it, and can delete the button I have added, but the two buttons already embeded in the spreadsheet cannot be removed.

I cannot right-click them or select them in order to move them.

Can anyone help me remove these items?

Thanks in advance

Is the worksheet protected?

If not, have you tried enabling the Visual Basic toolbar and depressing the Design Mode button? When in Design Mode, you should be able to select and right-click on Controls.

They sound more like Control Toolbox buttons, rather than Forms buttons. Activate the Control Toolbox toolbar and click on the Design Mode button, and then you should be able to select and delete the buttons.

Cheers, Glenn.

Thanks zahead31 and GlennUK, that was it!

Very helpful posts, thanks
