Dear All
I have a problem with my Linux RedaHat 9.0 installation.
I used the install everything option in the setup, I started httpd and vsftpd daemons and I am now trying to remotely access Apache and FTP.
I have fixed the IP address of the Linux machine to be 192.10.10.10 and I can use the Mozilla browser to see the contents in Apache and FTP using either or but when I try to access them from another computer (Windows 2K Pro) on the network that has a fixed IP address of 192.10.10.9 it doesn't connect.
Pinging the 192.10.10.10 IP address from the 192.10.10.9 machine is successful.
I am not really well versed in the ways of the network configurations so if anyone has an idea as to what the problem is or can tell me what kind of testing I should do to isolate the problem I would be grateful.
