Cannot open report by clicking on the .rpt icon

Using report developer 8.0 with crystal info 7.5 installed. when trying to open a report by clicking on the icon, the message appears "Cannot find the file -filename- or one of it's components, make sure the filename is correct andthat all required libraries are available. This occurs no matter where the .rpt file is placed.. However, if you open the designer, select the file location, the report will open fine.. Seagate Certified RCAD Specialist.
