Cannot open Exchange account from Outlook 2003

I have an Exchange account (Exchange 2000) and till some days ago I could open it with my Outlook 2003.

Some days ago after restarting the computer I opened Outlook and it was giving back an error saying it could not open the group of folders. If i go trough explorer i can see the mail. I've changed nothing in my computer. If i configure my account in an other computer everything works fine. But i dont manage to open it from my Outlook. I've reinstalled it but still gives the same error.

somebody has any idea on what is happening with my mail???

Hi,

Well, the problem was finally solved but i'm sorry to say that I just did one thing, and I'm really not convinced this solved the problem:

Before the problem first happened I added the exchange server in the host file of the computer. Once I removed it form the host file everything worked fine again.
