I have a client who asked me to evaluate the health of their AD and Exchange. They reported to me an issue that I have never seen before.
When you attempt to change the domain controller that is used by RUS for the Enterprise Configuration, you get an error:
[red]The operation failed.
ID no: 80004005
Exchange System Manager[/red]
This error message pops up as soon as you click on the "Browse" button. This error does not occur on any other RUS object.
The user account attempting to is a member of Domain Admins, Enterprise Admins, and is delegated Exchange Full Admin permissions at the root of the organization.
I haven't drilled into the ACL yet, but I plan to in the next couple of days.
Anyone seen this?
