We are running on one exchange server and we have only one, default recipients policy with several mail addresses and one of them is default (e.g. test@enterprises.com). However, when I create the user and after I want to change user's primary address (properties, e-mail address tab) - it only stays as primary for a short time and then it's back to user@enterprises.com. The only way to keep something else as a primary mail address is to uncheck option "automaticly update e-mail address based on recipients’ policy". Is this something I can do without any fear or there is a different way to resolve this?

Yes. This is by design. Your other option would be to create a second policy that is for the group requiring a different primary email address. This is probably the best choice since unchecking the box will stop the auto update from the RUS.
