I'm trying to install Front Page 2000 (just for simple editing of asp pages) onto my Win xp sp#2 machine and keep getting an error at the end of the install "unable to access configuration for MS personal web server." I do not have IIS install, nor do I want it installed. I just want to edit asp pages.

FP 2000 did not do that great of a job editing ASP pages as I remember. It sometimes re-did pages to make them "compliant" with its HTML standards. I would recommend a later version of Frontpage or use another text editor
