A while back I had created a thread to try and get Message Manager working so that I could pull recordings of announcements and other stuff off of the AUDIX system.
Two options were given of course, using Avaya Message Manager, or setting up a POP3. I could not get either to work.
What do I need to have installed, or rather, what needs to be enabled to make this function? I have MM 5.0 on hand, but every time I give it the server IP it just says it cant connect. There is no connectivity issue, so I'm assuming the AUDIX is playing dumb because some interface on the server is turned off. The features ON right now are:
Feature Option Current Maximumx
AMIS Analog Networking OFF N/A
DCS OFF N/A
Fax for Lodging OFF N/A
Fax OFF N/A
High speed digital ports 0 12
Low speed digital ports 0 12
Max Number of IMAPI Sessions 0 96
Multilingual OFF N/A
SCSI Disk Mirroring OFF N/A
TCP/IP Administration ON N/A
TCPIP digital ports 0 12
Text-to-Speech Sessions 0 4
Trusted Servers 0 64
hours_of_speech 50 139
voice_ports 18 18
Am I missing something then? Or what/how do I make this work?
