Cannot get DNS resolution over vpn using netscreen box but you can if use the ip address instead of name of the server.
Anybody got any ideas??

Does we have input the dhcp range into the netware server?

When you use the IP address instead of the server name, you are esentially bypassing SLP and DNS.

I would first check to make sure you have the server name in the DNS server the client is using for resolution. More than likely, your client is using an ISP DNS server, so no, it will not resolve your internal servers (unless of course you have host records in the public DNS servers for your internal servers, but that wouldn't be a smart thing to do).

I would then check for SLP configuration with in your tree and ensure the client is getting the proper SLP information. This is mor than likely the cause of your issues. You may need to program SLP information into the remote client comming in over the VPN.
