Cannot find server or DNS Error

Hi,
We have a website on the intranet.
lately while testing an asp page from the IDE (interdev 6) i got following error
"Not sufficient memory available to perform the operation"

so i logged into the server and tried to restart iis but i got the message access denied. so i cancelled the operation and checked whether iis was still runing. it was running.

But now i have started gettting this error "Page cannot be displayed" at the bottom of the page i have
Cannot find server or DNS Error

sorry i am novice to networking concepts and iis so was wondering if anyone can help me on this one

Also the strange thing is i can ping to the server without any problem
still why i am getting the above message is beyond my comprehension???

Also when i try to save my asp file on the server it says "Cannot update the file. There is no server no port 80 at Servername???
no clue what does this mean ???????
