Hi all,

Can anyone tell me how to get all the group policy settings under Computer Configuration--->Administrative templates->windows components--> windows updates. According to the MS deployment guide, there should be around 10 policy settings, however on my gpo I only have 'configure automatic updates'and 'specify intranet microsoft update service location'. I've added the latest ADM template but still no joy. Thanks in advanced.

From where did you grab the ADM file? There are a number of versions installed when you install WSUS, one for each language and different ones I believe for 32 and 64 bit systems.

Are you comparing settings from a beta version of WSUS vs the deployment guide for the released final version? If your WSUS is beta you should upgrade it to the released version.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark

Do a search on your system for the adm file, I believe it is WUAU.ADM. You will find there is an updated version distributed with WSUS that is newer than whay you posted the link for.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark
