One of my users is having a problem replying to certain messages in Outlook 2000. He will only get a single tilde(~)sign when he types. This is not happening on all messages, only certain messages. I cannot see any similarity in the messages that he cannot reply to. He can also have several messages from the same person and be able to reply to some but not to others.
He did receive a message from one of our employees in Singapore this morning. Outlook prompted him to install the Japanese Character set. He said he answered "NO'. I could not find this problem on Microsoft's website. Does anyone know why this is happening?
