I would like to enable right click to alter entries and make shortcuts when in start>program - both on NT worksations and servers - it seems to work on some NT boxes and not on others - I do not know what the difference is between those boxes where it works and those where it does not. I am the company DBA and enabling right click can be a timesaver.

Check what version of IE is installed, IE4 integrates into the browser which allows the right click control of the start menu (Std in 98 etc)

I have an NT workstation box sitting next to a box with win2000 workstation, both with ie5.50.4522.1800 and right click does not work on the NT box but it works fine on the win2k box. Why? Our lan guy installed ie on both of them - I would imagine in the same way on each.

Try re-installing IE4 on the SP5CD, as this version of IE contains the OS embedded stuff.

IE5.5 etc does not just install straight, I hate the fature, but you need IE4 SP2 from that CD

Are you saying that IE4 allows right click and IE5 does not? Once I reinstall IE4 then what should I do?
