Hi Guys,

I am running IP Office 8.1(85) and have had an ongoing problem for a couple of versions. I am trying to do an external (Trunk to trunk) transfer but cant. When I press the transfer key nothing happens. I can do conference calls with these parties as well as have mobile twinning to work. The issue only happens when an analog trunk is used.

You need to turn trunk to trunk transfer on for each trunk involved :)

Trunk to trunk transfer is turned on on all the trunks. I can do a transfer through my sip trunk or PRI just not with another analog trunk.

The system doesn't know what trunk you are going to use when first pressing the transfer key though... so how is it working for ISDN and SIP? :)

Amriddle01's point is, if it fails as soon as you press transfer the system doesn't even know you are trying to use an analog line for trunk to trunk transfer yet because you haven't even pressed your dial-out code (example dial 9 for SIP/PRI, dial 8 for POTS line).

How do you have it programmed to distinguish between grabbing from the digital lines and the analog lines?
