Cannot display correct font under window XP

Currently I using visual foxpro 6.0 SP5, when I install
this program under window xp, I using the thai or chinese
languages, after I key in, it come out ascii code, any one
know how to solve this problem ? please advice.

It will diplay fine when I key in under notepad.
My default text font is courier new.

Unfortunately I haven't had to use fonts for foreign languages, but I'm a bit confused by your question. Where are you trying to 'key in'?

If you place a text box, for instance, on a form in FoxPro try placing this code in INIT method of the form:

thisform.MyTextBox.FontName = "Whatever Font"

For some one reason when I tried setting the font name in the properties of the textbox at design time it reverted back to Arial at run time. That could be the problem you're running into too.
