ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

You don not have enough privledges to perform this operation. You must have the appropriate system and object privledges to create, edit, or drop database objects or objects outside of your schema.

Why? If I connect 'Normal' then I can create the trigger.

Can you describe your case step-by-step (provide some background for your error), because I'm not sure I understand your problem.

Regards, Dima

Hi,
When you connect 'AS SYSDBA' you actually are connected as system ( as far as Oracle is concerned )so you cannot alter tables in your 'normal' schema.
