Hi Guys,

I have a windows 2000 server and I am trying to connect to a 2003 server in my workgroup via its IP address using the UNC path at Start, Run. I get the login prompt and type in the username and password but all that happens are that the fields blank out again (like its rejecting the password/username and asking again).

I can connect from this 2000 server to all other machines in my workgroup and I can connect from all other machines in my workgroup to the 2003 server.

How can I resolve this?

lj:
create a test user with a simple password and try connecting with it.
double check the permissions of the account you are using on the 2k3server..
and check the log of your pc once you try X times and it gives you an error .

toughie though....
probably end up being something so simple...
we'll kick ourselves ;-)
