Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame server message

hello...
i have a windows 2000 server with sp4 and metaframe xp. Well the problem is when i try to connect via published application the metafreme giving me this message: "Cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame server. The Citrix MetaFrame Server you have selected is not unable to alocate the requested metaframe server name. The server may be unavailable or you may have entered the server name incorrectly.", but if i try with a published desktop, i can connect.


any suggestion can be helpful, thanks....

Might be a naming convention issue, my ica clients would only connect using name instead of ip address.

Chekc the WebInterface settings and make sure it has the name of the server with the Data Store on it listed.
