Hi all,
We just set up our servers to use static 1:1 NAT. Users from the outside the firewall can connect to the external IP using POP3, IMAP, OWA and SMTP fine as well as users behind the firewall using the NAT'ed internal IP can can connect fine to those protocols as well. However, external users cannot connect to their Exchange mailbox and even when using VPN to get back to the internal network they cannot either. I'm assuming MAPI needs a way to get thru the FW as it seems to be blocked. Any ideas? I'm thinking we'll have to statically map ports thru the firewall and add those to the Exchange server registry.
