*Using MS Small Business Server 2000 with Outlook 2000*
There are certain PCs in the office that when users try to log on to MS Outlook they get the error message that the server is not available, yet when they click on the 'retry' button the server is contactable and Outlook opens up. (If I go into DOS before opening Outlook I can ping the server no problem at all)
this seems to be PC specific with the error not dependant upon platforms or user. What is really strange is that one users laptop accesses Outlook from one office without a problem, but from another office gets the 'retry' option.
has anyone any ideas on what can be tried?
