cannot change 2000 password on nt4 wkstation machines

I have an active directory domain. The majority of clients are w9x. These have Dsclient installed which enables users to change their own domain passwords when necessary.

However, the few nt4 workstations we have on the domain are always unsuccessful when attempting to change their domain passwords.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Is there a NT4 version of the DSclient or something like that?
