Cannot access8.1 system config with R9

I have had a couple complaints from sites with IP Office where they have upgraded the system to 9.0.3 then for some reason down graded the core to version 8.1. From then on they cannot access the 8.1 configuration from the 9.0.3 manager.

In the end they have had to ether factory default with the DTE, Button or leave the system 8.1 and down grade the manager to 8.1

Has anyone experienced this and or perhaps know a way to figure it out.

I have seen it and it has to do with corrupted security settings.
Get the DTE cable and reset the security settings.
After that the problem is gone.
