We are currently using Novell 5.1 SP4 on a Dell Poweredge 2550 in a strictly IP environment. We our users are on the road they dial in to our network through a Shiva Lanrover /E Plus. The users are authenticated usings TACACS and their Novell username and password. Once connected through Shiva you can ping by name all of the novell servers and connect to email on a windows 2000 server without any problems. However, when the user tries to log in to Novell they get a message that says Cannot access tree. On the Novell site it says to use SLPDA which we have done. This creates the SLP Directory Agent and SLP Scope. However we are still having problems. Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?
