I have a cisco 806 router that acts as a gateway between my lan of 4 clients and my roadrunner cable modem.
Everything has been fine until about a week ago when I was no longer able to access hotmail on any of my clients.

I tried plugging the modem directly into my computer...when I do that everything works just fine, but I can't get it to work when it's plugged into the router.

Has anyone else dealt with an issue like this or have an idea of what to check? There was nothing that I changed at the time this started happening. What should I look for?

If nothing changed, then try rebooting your router, if this doesn't fix the issue, then something did change. Then you need to look through the configuration file to make sure your router has not been compromised. If still no luck, you can try a sniffer. I'm assuming that your NAT'ing your addresses, are you overloading or doing a 1:1 NAT? Does anyone else have access to your home gear?
