Am using WIN XP and IE6.
When trying to log into my Hotmail account recently a
message such as:
"Incorrect password has been entered several times recently. Hotmail account is being made temporarily
unavailable as a security measure"
was displayed.
However,I am pretty sure I had not recently entered a wrong password.Some time later I was again able to access my hotmail account via IE6 but now the web page cannot be accessed and,instead,the browser appears to hang.Sometimes by closing this browser window the computer continues to function OK (ie other than problem mentioned) but more often than not everything slows down markedly or the screen freezes completely.
I can still access my hotmail account via my other computer (uses Win 95 and IE5) and via Outlook Express with the WIN XP computer.
Would be grateful for any help.Thanks.
