Hi,
We have a call center with Definity switch and, there
is a VDN=1252.
People reach this VDN from their home by dialing
555-1252. Now we want to cancel this VDN and forward all
calls which come to this VDN to another "external" number
like 543-9855.
Can I do this from the related vector of the VDN ?

I tried to change the first line of the vector :
route-to number 95439855 with coverage n if unconditionnally
the prefix 9 is to get dialtone for outline calls.
But I failed.
So, what can I do for this ?
How to route a VDN to an external number ?

sozmena, I would first try checking the COR on your VDN 1252 and ensure that it has outdialing capability.

If you have a ISDN-PRI T-1 Do a change trunk # (this would be the same trunk that the number comes in on)you can go to page 3. this will route it right out to the number you put in. Wisdom is Knowledge
that is Shared
