Cancel a Back up Job in BUE v9

I don't know for sure if this will work in all situations, but it worked for me this morning...
On BE v.9, go to Tools, Services. Then Stop All Services. If BE won't let you in to Services (mine didn't once already today), go to Start, Setting, Control Panel, Admin Tools, Services. Stop all services related to Backup Exec. Close Veritas, then restart it. The job should be closed at that point.
