Can you setup Remote Terminal setup on Mac OS X?

I have a Meridian Mail Release 12 system at work. I need to be able to dial into it.

I know the number to modem. Also the tech support people do dial in remotely to fix major. So I know this is possible.

I have tried using a terminal emulation program to dial into it emulating VT220 to no luck.

Can anyone tell me what the procedure is on a PC end to dial into meridian mail?

If you are able to get connected but cannot see a screen, try hitting Control-R after you are connected. Otherwise, can you describe what's happening when you try to dial in?

When i dial in. i get the modm hand shake sounds then i do hit Control-R then I get NO CARRIER.

I origionaly thought the modem was the problem but we have NEXTIRA guy dial into it recently and it worked fine for them.

Check Your baud rate first, and then talk to your NEXTIRA guy to see how his connection is set up, if he's your Vendor, he would probably be willing to help you out.
