On a 81C and using 3904 and 2616 phones can you make key 00 not roll to another key. Reason I am doing this is our operators are using 3904's and they had all identical configs til this weekend and I gave them personal lines for Key 00 so I could distinguish the phones apart in ISI Call Manager (unless you know a way to gather records for each phone that have identical configs) and right now since I got 2 MCR exts on Key 1 and Key 2 there personal line is rolling to key 1 and causing me more headaches :p

Thanks

Hmmm would that interfere with the other Exts on the 3904?

We use the 22 button add-ons also.

Key 0,1,2,3,4,5 are used then key 32 up to 50 something all have exts. some are SCR some are MCR. 3 of them are jumplines or revert dns for when people 0 out of vmail and so on...
If I was logged into work now i would prt tnb.

This would only effect DN's that are MARP'ed to that TN.

I decided to dial in and check out a tn. Here is how one of them is.

Build a phanton set with all the DN's that you want to roll MARP's on that phanton set- make LHK 50 or whatever you need to roll to on this phantom set.

Then copy that phantom set config to the 2 receptionist phones. Change each reception phone key 0 to be the unique DN you want them each to have, and MARP only that unique DN key 0 on each reception set. Make LHK 0 on each set and you should be good to go

Cool thanks. I'll mess around with that this weekend. :)

or just put the private line on the last key, might be a little faster

The reason for adding a personal line to there configs was so i could distinguish the phones a part for call detail records. Our operators aint supposed to be making personal calls and I figured by putting a new ext on key 00 they would most likely just pick up the phone and thats the line it uses by default.

Unless I am thinking of how the call detail records work is not how it works then i am lost :p

Is there another way that I can get accurate call records from each phone without having to give them each there own exts or making them key 00 to get that info?

I'm new to the cdr stuff we just got the latest ISI Call manager installed a few weeks ago and it has so many options for reports I dont know what ones give you the best detail besides doing a Detail Ext report and choosing there key 00 line to get it.

Thanks

i dont use ISI but most CDR reporting apps require something to bind to, like a TN, a DN, etc - usually called assets. What does ISI offer you for assetts or how does it distinguish phonesets/users/DN's etc?

If you can do by TN that would give you a report based on the physical phone so you would know exactly what lines that operator dialed out on, even if that DN appears elsewhere

From what I can tell there is no option to choose to create a report based on TN. I wish it did cause thats all I would need for accuracy in reports.

It gives me options to choose trunks and routes and by DN and other various things like calls per hour and call duration and search by number dialed and so on but nothing for TN that I can find.
