Hi all,
I'm having a really, really rough time trying to use Access 2007. After finally finding where to actually create a query, I now can't see where to put a connect string for a pass-thru. I right-click on the top bar and there is no Properies menu, right-clicking on the body just gives cut/copy/paste.

I'm really hoping this isn't some new 'security' thing where we can't store connect strings anymore...can anyone help with this?
Thanks,

I set the connection string properties regularly. You can click the Design ribbon and find Property Sheet on the far right.

In 2007 the Property Sheet can be "docked".

Duane,
Thanks very much.

Using this is like using an entirely different piece of software from an entirely different vendor. It's not that it's better or worse--it's just so fundamentally different in the layout and interface.

I'll get used to it soon enough.
