Can you hotdesk across MCDN tie

We have 2 BCM's with I2004's on both. They are connected with 4 VOIP channels with MCDN & VPIM networking. Can a user hotdesk from a phone on the other side of the tie?

You can only Hotdesk from DNs on the same switch.
