Hi,

I am producing a report in Crystal XI and have two similar cross tabs next to each other. Both tabs have the same row headings therefore I would like to hid the row headings on one to make it look as if they are just one cross tab.

Before you say I can't put the info out of one into the other or the other way around due to the desired layout I want the report to have.

Does anyone know how to hid the row headings in a cross tab as I know you can suppress the total column?

Thanks

Rory

You can suppress the row headings and then in the customize style tab->format grid lines->select the grid lines you wish to remove and uncheck "draw".

Hi lbass,

Thanks for the advice but I am not sure if you can suppress row headings in the summary tab, you can suppress subtotal columns but I can't see how to hid the cokumn headings.

I have looked in the customise and there isn't anything there. Could you please let me know where to find and how to do this?

Thanks

Rory

Yes, you can suppress. Just right click on the heading->format field->suppress. This does not eliminate the column, but it removes the content from displaying. You will need to overlay the second crosstab on the first. There is no way to hide columns other than to suppress, except for the totals columns, as you have found.

LB,

Thanks. I have now managed to get the cross tab to look as required. Thanks for you help. Much appreciated.
