Can you do a back-up on a BCM 400 4.0 & Load it onto a BCM 450 6.0?

Title says it all.. Couldn't find a thread that covered this.

Have a customer using an older BCM 400 4.0.. They were looking to get a 450 6.0.. Could I do a back-up on the 400 and load it onto the 450?

there is an application called DATA MIGRATION MANAGER that will take you callpilot to the BCM450R6 and also some of the telephony programming. Have done it around 12-13 times to upgrade BCM200-400 systems to release 6.0 systems and it worked most of the times if you jave is OK and follow the instructions. It is not as simple as backup and restore but there is a procedure.

The DMM requires a Lan CTE license on the BCM400 4.0 to work correctly you used to get one as part of the pack without this you may as well do a retype

If its not broke tweak it..
