Can you create multiple passwords for a database in Access 2003. Help makes it sound like you can. But, when I try to create two passwords it does not work. I would appreciate anyone's help.

You can have a database password which is kind of like a word or excel password. Each file can have one.

Then there is Access security where you can use a workgroup file to create users which can have individual passwords. Catch is you have to have access and use the workgroup to open the file. Access security is also a lot of trouble to understand the first time you set it up.

If you really just want to keep some people out of the database, I would simply set permissions on the FOLDER where the databse resides to not allow them in.

With all that in mind, if you want to tell me more about what you are wanting to accomplish, I probably suggest something specific.
