Can you auto-select Key 1 as your outgoing line preference?

This board helped myself (and our vendor) solve an intercom solution using Group Call and Auto Answer Activate w/Handsfree Activated. It's a "poor man's" paging/intercom system to multiple phones (Thanks again to whoever helped on that, the name escapes me).

In order to get this to work we had to have our Group Call DN as Key 0 and the users Personal DN as Key 1.

My question is, is there a way that when the user lifts the handset, Key 1 could be used as the default outgoing key?

The small issue is that users don't recognize the number format we used for the Group Call extensions and Call Pilot doesn't recognize it unless I put it as an additional DN in their profile and some users don't have voicemail.

Any more magic left to select Key 1 (Personal DN) instead of Key 0 (Group Call DN) when placing a call?

Thanks in advance.

As for selecting KEY 1 - I know of no way to hop over an available key to select the next. But you can "Rename" KEY 0 to be the DN of KEY 1. You will have to add it to Call Pilot

Thanks again GHTROUT for the original solution.

The "Paging" Group Call extensions they came up with was using 200XXX and the Personal DNs were 7XXXX so renaming probably wouldn't help. The confusion from users is usually seeing the 200XXX number on their display and also in Call Pilot extension playback where the 200XXX is not associated with a voicemail profile.

Is was worth a shot, you had a solution to where my vendor was stumped, so I thought I'd see if it was possible.

Thanks
