I have changed out a 3904 with approx 60 personal directory/log numbers stored on it and now the directory is gone. Is there a way to down load or do some kind of save to get them back?

You can do this if you install a PC utility cartridge on the phone. You will also require an ACM (Accessory Connection Module).
Then you have the capability to upload the directory to a PC via an RS-232 cable and download from the PC to the new phone.
Never done this but probably you could have one utility cartridge and an ACM and just use them when you had to replace a phone.
Might be easier just to write down all the entries and re-input them. Of course, this means the phone has to be operational enough to perform all these tasks.
Just another reason why 3900 sets are a pain.

Thanks Steamer that is what I thought. I will just let my users know to sharpen up their pencils when they need to change out a set and have directories setup.
