We just installed an SSL certificate on our CRM 3.0 server so instead of accessing it at the new address is
Now how do we block access to the old HTTP site? We can't just block port 80 can we/should we? Or should do an auto-redirect from the old site to the new one? If so, how?

Thanks

We did this just a bit differently.

We set up a dns entry (just enter CRM in the address line) that would go to IIS 'web site'... then when we switch servers or whatever all we update for the users is the dns entry.

for you - what about a DNS entry that would redirect from one site to the other?

good idea but how to you do that on the dns level?

ideally i'd like to be able to do it on a site-level so we can make changes immediately if needed
