Is it possible to make VB run some code when it "hears" sound form the microphone. Beyond that can you make it check to see if it is a certain tone/frequency.

The closest I can come to for what you want is voice recognition SDK from MS. It may allow you to do what you want, but then again it may not. Here is the link so you can look for yourself. If it does not work I search MS with "Voice Recognition".

Does any one know of a way to use the microsoft voice recognition (or something else) to recognize when a certain tone is being played.
